Mayo College’s Girls School

mayo-girlsMayo College Girls’ School (MCGS) came into being on August 1, 1988 as a purely residential English medium school. Known as the ‘sister school’ of Mayo College, the school strives to meet the vision envisaged by its founders – the Mayo College General Council and the Board of Governors – to ensure that the girls acquire a broad range of skills, love of learning, tolerance and respect for the beliefs of others and basic values of truth and honesty.

State of the art facilities for games and extra/co-curricular activities speak for the emphasis laid on the development of the child outside and beyond the classroom. The School provides excellent facilities to its students by providing well equipped departments for Home Science, Science, Computers and separate labs for geography and psychology.
